MKC X PROOF EDC RAZOR

I’d like to give honest feedback here so I write this in hope that nobody gets sensitive about my personal opinion . I’m a guy who loves high-quality products and I’m not afraid to spend the money to buy a lasting tool from a reputable company. I received my MKC x Proof razor and it’s leather roll pouch a couple of weeks ago. I tore open the packaging with all the excitement of a kid at Christmas time. I pulled everything out and set it aside to go over each piece one by one. The first thing I noticed was the nice weight and quality construction of the razor handle itself. I especially love the orange on black. I also enjoy the magnetic top which locks the blade in place with a satisfying click. The roll pouch is made from a nice leather and gives off a rustic western rancher vibe. A consideration for alteration I would have, is that the pockets in the pouch are not designed to easily stow your razor without having to manhandle it back into its spot. I understand that the intention from the designer is to create an atmosphere while opening, assembling, and using this razor. But sometimes you just want to shave your face and get on with your day. I used the razor every day for a couple of weeks, destroying my face and neck time after time. I feel like I could have received the same quality shave from a dollar store disposable razor (or from a one armed blind man running a back alley barber shop, not saying that there isn’t one capable of doing a good job… But the odds…
