I absolutely love this sharpener. Extremely well made and easy to use, the HORL 3 system out performed my expectations, so much so, that I recommended it to multiple friends after the first use! Don't buy a cheap knockoff version, the original is the best.

Works as advertised, but as far as bang for buck, get a bench top sharpener instead. If you want your knives to be a sharp as you actually want - you're going to need to pay up for the extra discs. This will get the blades about halfway there, although functionally okay for most tasks. I would hesitate to use this on a very expensive blade as well. It lacks the level of control you get with a benchtop sharpener or whetstone.
