Most people say perfection is an illusion — an ideal or myth that can’t exist in reality. We say perfection is an 8 5/8″ drop point deer knife called The Whitetail.
After countless requests for a whitetail deer blade, we’ve finally done it. And we couldn’t be prouder. The 4-inch blade combines our classic drop point shape with more belly, allowing the Whitetail to skin, gut, bone out, and process meat with ease.

The Whitetail has quickly become one of our favorite blade designs to date. While it’s specifically designed for treestand and deer blind whitetail hunting, it can take on mule deer, elk, goats, bighorns, moose, and even bear… far above the woods.

PVD Coated MagnaCut Steel

We finished the premium MagnaCut steel in a low-glare PVD coating that lessens wear and improves scratch-resistance.

As a cryogenically heat-treated stainless steel, MagnaCut provides the perfect blend of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. Unlike other stainless steel blades, MagnaCut can be easily resharpened — even by novice knife owners.

More wear-resistant than other stainless steels, and more corrosion-resistant than carbon steel, MagnaCut is in a class of its own.

    Perfect Blade!!

    This blade is all around perfection. Feels great in the hand, maintains an edge from start to finish in the field. Gutting, boning, cutting. I use this blade from field to freezer. Have processed multiple deer before needing to touch it up and it’s easy to get an edge back. Perfection by MKC. Have gifted this blade to family and friends.

    Awesome feel in the hand

    This is my first MKC knife and it didn't disappoint. I have used it around the kitchen as my hunt is not till November. I like the comfort and feel in the hand when cutting. It might have been my first, but it is not the last. In fact, I had already placed a second order before I even received my first order!

    MKC Whitetail

    I am an avid outdoorsman that hunts everything from elk to small game.. My grandpa was a small town butcher. I grew up around knives and processing game at a young age. My grandpa taught me the value of a knife by its fit, form and function. Balance and a the ability to hold a razor sharp edge is everything. I got a great one with this last order. My true passion is bow hunting big whitetails in Iowa. I can’t wait to process my next big buck in the fall. Thanks MKC for making quality knives for hunters.
